Hearing Tests

in Springdale, Arkansas

Your Hearing Test Consultation is Especially Important If You…

  • Think People Mumble More Frequently
  • Ask People To Repeat Themselves
  • Are Told You play the TV too Loud

If you’ve experienced changes in your hearing, the first step toward better hearing is having your hearing tested.

We’ll Get to Know More About You

First, you'll sit down with our hearing specialist to talk about your hearing, and lifestyle. Our specialist will ask you questions about what you do for a living? Struggle you are having with your hearing? Do you like listening to music? Are you exposed to loud noise? How you hear on the cell phone?

This process allows our specialist to better understand how your hearing loss is affecting you, and your relationship with family and friends.

We pledge to do our very best for you, and provide you with the best possible service.

The Hearing Test

Our specialist will inspect both external ear canals for cerumen (ear wax), foreign bodies, and run a tympanogram test to determine the tympanic membrane’s (ear drum’s) elasticity, pressure and volume size of the middle ear. Next, you'll be given a pure-tone hearing test with speech testing to assess your hearing in both ears. All the hearing testing is comfortable and easy to perform.

  • Your hearing specialist will explain the results of the evaluation in detail. If your hearing test indicates a loss, your hearing specialist will recommend the next steps.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • The types of hearing loss and their effect on quality of life.

  • Today’s best hearing aid technology.

  • What to look for in selecting hearing aids for long-term satisfaction.

  • The cost of hearing aids and how to choose the best value suited for you.

  • Medical referrals are made if indicated by the hearing test results and FDA guidelines.
